Since March, 2001 the Yoga Federation of Armenia is a full member of the International Yoga Federation. The session of the General Assembly of the International Yoga Federation takes place once a year, and the Yoga Federation of Armenia also has the right to participate and to vote in it. The membership to the International Yoga Federation gives an opportunity to present the achievements in the field of yoga in Armenia in the international arena, to cooperate and to share experience with the world’s leading yoga organizations.
Within the frameworks of the membership to the International Yoga Federation, the Yoga Federation of Armenia organized a seminar on kundalini yoga in Sevan and representatives from USA, France, Japan and Russia also took part in it. Similar seminars will be organized soon.
